The Energy levels were insane

This group was so much fun and knew how to BRING THE PARTY! Their entire bridal crew and guest list loved and supported this couple so much it was tangible! Their dance party after the reception was so full of energy and crazy moves. Sunny and Kirk are so lucky to have two wonderful, rambunctious families supporting this new chapter in their lives!

The big book of love

Sunny and Kirk had been dating for a while and let’s just say their relationship sounded like one from a movie. He often brought flowers and poems when he would pick her up for dates and they traveled often together despite having several circumstances (getting deployed and medical school) pull them apart. So Sunny decided to make a scrap book to keep all of their memories in one place. Now for my favorite part, they had everyone sign little cards for their “guestbook” and added them all to their big scrap book to cherish forever.

THe Vows

Just reminiscing on these vows makes me emotional. As I mentioned above, Kirk wrote her a lot of poems and so for his vows to her he pulled out a map of Yosemite and read a poem he wrote about her the first week they started dating. It was already quite beautiful but he acknowleded there were some details he would change and so he read a updated version. Hearing the difference in details it was so easy to see how deep their love for one another had grown over the years.

THe cake topper

Not only were all of the desserts made by Kirk’s mom and boy were they good! (Not to mention she sent me home with box! <3), but also their cake topper was a little statue of mountaineers holding a banner that said “just married”. This pointed to the fact that they are avid adventures and mountain climbers which I thought was such a cute touch.
